1. Park the RTV 900 on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
2. Use a floor jack to raise the RTV 900 until the rear wheels are off the ground.
3. Place safety stands under the RTV 900 to support it.
4. Remove the lug nuts and washers securing the rear wheels to the axles.
5. Remove the wheels from the axles.
6. Remove the cotter pins, washers, and nuts securing the axle shafts to the differential housing.
7. Pull the axle shafts out of the differential housing.
8. Remove the oil drain plug from the differential housing and drain the oil.
9. Remove the differential housing cover.
10. Remove the differential housing gasket.
11. Remove the differential assembly from the housing.
12. Clean the differential housing and cover.
13. Install a new differential housing gasket.
14. Install the differential assembly into the housing.
15. Install the differential housing cover.
16. Install the oil drain plug.
17. Add new oil to the differential housing.
18. Install the axle shafts into the differential housing.
19. Install the washers, nuts, and cotter pins securing the axle shafts to the differential housing.
20. Install the wheels on the axles.
21. Install the lug nuts and washers securing the wheels to the axles.
22. Lower the RTV 900 from the floor jack.
23. Remove the safety stands from under the RTV 900.
