- Application for Certificate of Title (Form H-13A): Complete the application and sign the owner’s certification section.

CT Form H-13A (If previously registered in CT)
- Safety Inspection Report: Bring your trike in to a qualified inspection facility for a safety inspection.
- Odometer Disclosure Statement (if applicable): Complete and sign Form OD-1 if the trike is less than 10-years-old and is titled or registered for the first time in Connecticut.
- Insurance Coverage: Provide proof that the trike is covered by insurance that complies with the state's financial responsibility laws.
- Any Applicable Sales or Use Taxes: You must pay any sales tax due on the trike.
You can submit these documents by mail or in person to the Connecticut DMV. The DMV will process your application and issue you a certificate of title and registration plates for your trike.
