1. Locate the AC compressor. It is usually located on the front of the engine, near the top.
2. Find the AC belt. It is the belt that runs from the AC compressor to the crankshaft pulley.
3. Loosen the AC belt tensioner. This is usually a bolt or nut that is located near the AC compressor.
4. Turn the AC belt tensioner until the belt is snug. There should be about 1/2 inch of play between the belt and the pulleys.
5. Tighten the AC belt tensioner.
6. Start the engine and check the AC belt. Make sure that it is running smoothly and that there is no squealing noise.
If the AC belt is still squealing, you may need to replace it.
