To reset the service light on a 2006 Nissan Micra, follow these steps:

Method 1:

1. Turn the ignition key to the “On” position without starting the engine.

2. Press and hold the Trip odometer reset button for 5-7 seconds until the service light begins to blink.

3. Keep holding the trip reset button until the service light turns off. This may take up to 30 seconds.

4. Once the service light turns off, turn the ignition key to the “Off” position to save the reset.

Method 2:

1. Turn the ignition ON without starting the engine.

2. Press the odometer reset button for around five seconds until the display starts showing trip A

3. Now, turn off the ignition. If the service light didn’t turn off, continue with the next steps.

4. Turn the ignition ON without starting the engine.

5. Press and hold the odometer reset button while at the same time turning the ignition ON.

6. Keep holding the reset button until you see either two zeros or the letters “SET” on the odometer display.

7. Release the reset button and start the engine.

For some Nissan Micra models, the service light can be reset by connecting a diagnostic tool to the vehicle's OBD-II port.
