Step 1: Remove the Old Door Hinges
1. Open the door you're working on as wide as possible.
2. Locate the two bolts that secure the top door hinge to the door.
3. Use a socket wrench and a 13mm socket to remove the bolts.
4. Lift the door hinge up and off the door.
5. Repeat steps 2-4 to remove the bottom door hinge.
6. Remove the door hinge pins from the door by tapping them out with a hammer and flathead screwdriver.
Step 2: Install the New Door Hinges
1. Place the new door hinge on the door, aligning the holes in the hinge with the holes in the door.
2. Insert the door hinge pins into the holes and tap them in with a hammer and flathead screwdriver.
3. Secure the top door hinge to the door using the two new door hinge bolts and a socket wrench.
4. Tighten the bolts securely.
5. Repeat steps 2-4 to install the bottom door hinge.
Step 3: Test the Door
1. Open and close the door several times to make sure the hinges are installed correctly and the door operates smoothly.
