1) Damaged brake rotors. Warped or uneven brake rotors can cause the front end of your car to shake when you brake. To check the condition of your brake rotors, remove the wheels from your car and inspect the rotors for any cracks or uneven wear. If the rotors are damaged, they should be replaced.
2) Loose lug nuts. Loose lug nuts can also cause the front end of your car to shake when you brake. To check the lug nuts, use a lug wrench to tighten them until they are snug.
3) Worn-out ball joints. Ball joints connect the control arms to the steering knuckle. If the ball joints are worn out, they can cause the front end of your car to shake when you brake. To check the condition of your ball joints, look for any signs of excessive play. If the ball joints are worn out, they should be replaced.
4) Faulty suspension components. Other faulty suspension components, such as control arms, tie rods, and sway bars, can also cause the front end of your car to shake when you brake. If you suspect that one of these components is faulty, have it inspected by a qualified mechanic.
If you have checked all of these things and the front end of your car is still shaking when you brake, you should take it to a qualified mechanic for diagnosis and repair.
