1. Drive the vehicle until it reaches operating temperature.
2. Raise the vehicle and secure it on jack stands.
3. Locate the transmission fluid filter. It is located on the side of the transmission pan.
4. Place a drain pan under the filter.
5. Remove the bolts holding the filter in place and remove the filter.
6. Inspect the filter for damage and replace it if necessary.
7. Reinstall the filter and bolts, then lower the vehicle.
8. Add new transmission fluid to the transmission.
9. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to circulate the new fluid.
