1. Park your vehicle in a safe location and apply the parking brake.
2. Open the rear liftgate.
3. Locate the tail light assembly that contains the blinker bulb. It is located on the side of the vehicle opposite the license plate.
4. Remove the two screws that secure the tail light assembly to the vehicle. Use a screwdriver to loosen the screws and then remove them by hand.
5. Pull the tail light assembly straight out from the vehicle. It may be necessary to gently pry the assembly out with a flat-head screwdriver.
6. Locate the blinker bulb socket. It is located on the back of the tail light assembly.
7. Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it from the assembly.
8. Remove the old blinker bulb from the socket. Gently pull or pry the bulb out of the socket.
9. Insert the new blinker bulb into the socket. Push the bulb into the socket until it is seated securely.
10. Turn the bulb socket clockwise to secure it to the assembly.
11. Reinstall the tail light assembly to the vehicle. Insert the assembly into the opening and secure it with the two screws that you removed in step 4.
12. Close the rear liftgate.
13. Test the blinker to ensure that it is working properly. Turn on the hazard lights and check that the blinker is flashing on the side that you replaced the bulb.
