How do you change outer rear bearing on amt 600 john Deere?

To change the outer rear bearing on an AMT 600 John Deere tractor, follow these steps:

Park the tractor on a level surface and engage the parking brake.

Remove the wheel and tire from the affected side.

Remove the hub cap and cotter pin from the spindle nut.

Loosen the spindle nut, but do not remove it completely.

Use a puller to remove the hub and bearing assembly from the spindle.

Remove the old bearing from the hub.

Clean the hub and spindle thoroughly.

Install the new bearing into the hub, making sure that it is seated properly.

Reinstall the hub and bearing assembly onto the spindle.

Tighten the spindle nut until it is snug, then back it off 1/4 turn.

Install the cotter pin through the spindle nut and bend it to secure it.

Reinstall the wheel and tire.

Repeat these steps on the other side of the tractor if necessary.
