1. Gather the necessary tools: a flathead screwdriver, a Phillips head screwdriver, and a hammer.
2. Insert the flathead screwdriver into the slot on the bottom of the ignition switch and pry it out of the housing.
3. Use the Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws that hold the ignition switch in place.
4. Pull the ignition switch out of the housing.
5. Use the flathead screwdriver to pry the lock cylinder out of the housing.
6. Remove the key from the lock cylinder.
7. Reinstall the new lock cylinder and ignition switch in the housing.
8. Replace and secure the screws.
