* Flat-head screwdriver
* Phillips-head screwdriver
* Torx bit set
* Socket wrench set
* Window regulator repair kit (available at most auto parts stores)
Instructions:
1. Park your Pontiac Grand Prix in a safe location and turn off the engine.
2. Open the passenger door and remove the door panel. To do this, you will need to remove the screws that hold the door panel in place, and then gently pry the panel off the door.
3. Once the door panel is removed, you will see the window regulator assembly. The window regulator is the mechanism that raises and lowers the window.
4. Locate the window regulator motor and remove the bolts that hold it in place.
5. Once the window regulator motor is removed, you will be able to access the window regulator assembly.
6. Remove the bolts that hold the window regulator assembly in place and carefully remove the assembly from the door.
7. Inspect the window regulator assembly for damage. If there is any damage, you will need to replace the window regulator assembly.
8. If the window regulator assembly is not damaged, you will need to clean it and lubricate the moving parts.
9. Reinstall the window regulator assembly and bolt it in place.
10. Reinstall the window regulator motor and bolt it in place.
11. Test the window to make sure that it is working properly.
12. Reinstall the door panel and bolt it in place.
