How do you remove the door panel on a 1997 s 10 pick up?

1. Remove the screws that hold the door panel in place. There are two screws located in the bottom of the door panel, one near the front and one near the rear. There is also one screw located in the upper corner of the door panel.

2. Remove the door handle bezel. Use a pry tool to gently pry the bezel up and out of the door panel.

3. Remove the window crank handle. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws that hold the window crank handle in place.

4. Disconnect the power window switch. If your S-10 has power windows, you will need to disconnect the power window switch before removing the door panel. To do this, simply use a flat-head screwdriver to pry up the connector tab and then pull the connector apart.

5. Remove the door panel. Once you have removed all of the screws, the bezel, the window crank handle, and the power window switch, you can begin to remove the door panel. To do this, simply pry up on the bottom edge of the door panel and then pull it straight up and out of the door frame.

Here are some additional tips for removing the door panel on a 1997 S-10 pickup:

* Be careful not to damage the door panel when you are prying it up.

* If the door panel is stuck, you can use a putty knife to help pry it up.

* Be careful not to drop the window crank handle when you remove it.

* If you are having difficulty removing the power window switch, you can use a flashlight to help you see the connector tab.
