1. Park your car in a safe location and turn off the engine. Engage the parking brake.
2. Gather the tools you will need, including a flat-head screwdriver, a Phillips-head screwdriver, a socket wrench set, and a putty knife.
3. Open the passenger door and remove the interior door panel. You can do this by prying off the plastic trim pieces with the flat-head screwdriver and then removing the screws that hold the door panel in place.
4. Once the door panel is removed, you will see the door frame and the window regulator assembly.
5. Locate the window regulator retaining bolts. These bolts are usually located on the side of the door frame. Remove the bolts using the socket wrench set.
6. Once the window regulator retaining bolts are removed, you can remove the window regulator assembly from the door. Be careful not to drop the window regulator.
7. Disconnect the electrical connector from the window regulator motor.
8. Remove the old window glass from the regulator. You can do this by prying off the old window glass with the putty knife.
9. Clean the regulator and the door frame.
10. Install the new window glass onto the regulator. Make sure that the new window glass is properly seated in the regulator track.
11. Reconnect the electrical connector to the window regulator motor.
12. Reinstall the window regulator assembly into the door.
13. Replace the window regulator retaining bolts.
14. Reinstall the interior door panel.
15. Test the window to make sure that it works properly.
