1. Park your Jeep Liberty in a safe location and turn off the engine.
2. Open the hood of your Jeep Liberty.
3. Locate the transmission control module (TCM). The TCM is usually located on the driver's side of the engine compartment, near the transmission.
4. Once you have located the TCM, unplug the electrical connector from the module.
5. Wait for at least 30 seconds.
6. Reconnect the electrical connector to the TCM.
7. Close the hood of your Jeep Liberty.
8. Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes.
9. The transmission codes should now be cleared.
If the transmission codes do not clear, you may need to have your Jeep Liberty towed to a qualified repair shop for further diagnosis and repair.
