How do you remove the Driver Side door panel on a 2000 Trooper?

1. Remove the door handle. There are two screws that hold the door handle in place. Remove these screws and then pull the door handle straight out to remove it.

2. Remove the window crank. The window crank is held in place with a clip. Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry up the clip and remove the window crank.

3. Remove the door lock knob. The door lock knob is held in place with a clip. Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry up the clip and remove the door lock knob.

4. Remove the armrests. There are two armrests on the door panel. The front armrest is held in place with two screws, while the rear armrest is held in place with one screw. Remove the screws and then pull the armrests straight up to remove them.

5. Pry up the door panel. Once all of the screws have been removed, you can pry up the door panel. Start by prying up the panel along the bottom edge. Once the panel is loosened at the bottom, you can work your way around the panel, prying it up until it comes off completely.

6. Disconnect the electrical connections. Once the door panel is removed, you will need to disconnect the electrical connections. There are two electrical connectors on the door panel. One connector is for the power window switch, and the other connector is for the door lock switch. Disconnect these connectors by pressing down on the release tab and then pulling the connector straight off of the switch.

7. Remove the door panel. Now that the electrical connections have been removed, you can remove the door panel. Lift up on the door panel and pull it straight out to remove it.
