1. Open the hood of your vehicle.
2. Locate the Edelbrock 1405 series carburetor.
3. The choke mechanism is located on the front of the carburetor.
4. There is a lever or knob that controls the choke.
5. Pull the choke lever or turn the knob all the way out to engage the choke.
6. Start the engine.
7. Allow the engine to run for a few minutes until it warms up.
8. Push the choke lever or turn the knob all the way in to disengage the choke.
