How do you change the headlamps on a 1996 Ford E-150 conversion van?

Tools Needed

- Phillips-head screwdriver

- Flat-head screwdriver

- Replacement Headlamp

Instructions:

1. Open the hood of your van.

2. Locate the headlamp assembly that you need to replace. It is located in the front of the van, on either side of the grille.

3. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the screws that hold the headlamp assembly in place. There will be two screws on the top and two on the bottom.

4. Once the screws are removed, you can pull the headlamp assembly out of the van. Be careful not to drop it.

5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the headlamp assembly.

6. Remove the old headlamp by twisting it counterclockwise.

7. Replace the old headlamp with a new one. Be sure to screw the new headlamp in until it is snug.

8. Reconnect the electrical connector to the back of the headlamp assembly.

9. Reinstall the headlamp assembly by inserting it into the van and securing it with the four screws that you removed earlier.

10. Close the hood of your van.

Tips

- If you have difficulty removing the old headlamp, you can use a flat-head screwdriver to pry it out of the socket.

- When installing the new headlamp, be sure not to overtighten the screws. This could damage the headlamp assembly.
