How do you remove brake rotors from a 1978 Corvette?

To remove the brake rotors from a 1978 Corvette, follow these steps:

1. Loosen the lug nuts, but do not remove them.

2. Use a jack and jack stands to raise the front or rear of the vehicle until the wheel/tire are not touching the ground.

3. Remove the lug nuts and remove the wheel and tire assembly from the vehicle.

4. Unbolt the caliper that holds onto the rotor and caliper assembly from the suspension assembly to remove the caliper.

5. Remove the cotter pin and castle nut that holds the rotor in place on the axle hub/spindle.

6. Slide off the rotor from the lug studs and remove it from the vehicle.
