1. Turn the ignition key to the "On" position, but do not start the engine.
2. Within five seconds, turn the ignition key to the "Off" position.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 two more times.
4. On the fourth turn of the key to the "On" position, leave the key in the "On" position and wait for the "Check Engine" light to come on and then go off.
5. Start the engine and let it run for several minutes to relearn the idle speed.
