Open the front windows to release pressure on the weather stripping.
Locate the two bolts on each side of the hardtop, under the leading edge of the top, between the roof bar and top cover. Remove these bolts.
Locate the two bolts in the rear corners of the hardtop cover, at the bottom of the C pillars, and remove them.
Remove the bolts located in the trunk in line with the B pillars.
Slide the hardtop rearward about one inch.
Locate the hardtop latch handles on either side of the B pillars. Open these handles and raise the hardtop. Continue raising the hardtop until it is high enough to clear the windshield frame. Slowly lower the hardtop and place it in a suitable location for storage.
