1. Disconnect the battery negative cable.
2. Turn the ignition key to the ON position.
3. Wait 10 seconds and turn the ignition key off.
4. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
5. Turn the key "on" for about 30 seconds, but don't start the engine.
6. Turn the key "off" and wait 10 seconds.
7. Start the engine.
The airbag light should now be reset. If the light is still on, there is a problem with the airbag system and you will need to have the vehicle diagnosed by a mechanic.
