- Replacement Turn Signal Switch
- Phillips Head Screwdriver
- Flat Head Screwdriver
- Socket Wrench Set
Removal and Replacement Procedure
1. Make sure the vehicle is in park with the ignition off.
2. Access the turn signal switch housing by removing the plastic cover around the steering column by carefully prying it off.
3. Locate the two screws holding the turn signal switch in place and remove them with the Phillips head screwdriver.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector attached to the turn signal switch by gently pressing the release tab and pulling the connector straight out.
5. Use a flat head screwdriver to release the lock on the turn signal lever and pull the lever straight off.
6. Replace the old turn signal switch with the new one by aligning it properly and secure it with the screws you removed earlier.
7. Reconnect the electrical connector to the new switch.
8. Test the new turn signal switch by turning on the ignition and checking if the turn signals are working properly.
9. Replace the plastic cover around the steering column.
