* Flat-head screwdriver
* Phillips-head screwdriver
* Torx screwdriver (T30)
* Socket wrench (10mm)
* Extension for the socket wrench
* New door lock cylinder (if necessary)
Procedure
1. Open the door panel by removing the door panel retainer screws and trim panel clips.
2. Disconnect the wiring harness for the window switch and door lock.
3. Remove the window switch and door lock screws.
4. Pull the door lock out of the door.
5. Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry up the locking tab on the door lock cylinder.
6. Use a Torx screwdriver (T30) to remove the two screws that hold the door lock cylinder in place.
7. Pull the door lock cylinder out of the door lock.
8. Inspect the door lock cylinder for damage. If it is damaged, replace it with a new one.
9. Reassemble everything by following the steps in reverse order.
Tips
* Be careful not to lose any of the small parts when you are removing the door lock cylinder.
* If you are having difficulty removing the locking tab, you can try using a penetrating lubricant.
