- Replacement taillight bulbs
- Phillips head screwdriver
- Small flat head screwdriver
Instructions:
1. Open the trunk and locate the taillight assembly. There are two taillight assemblies, one on each side of the vehicle.
2. Remove the two screws that hold the taillight assembly in place using the Phillips head screwdriver.
3. Once the screws are removed, gently pry the taillight assembly out of the vehicle.
4. Use the flathead screwdriver to pry out the light socket, it will be the part that the bulb is screwed into.
5. Remove the old bulb by turning it counterclockwise.
6. Insert the new bulb by turning it clockwise. Ensure that the bulb is seated properly in the socket.
7. Replace the light socket back into the taillight assembly.
8. Re-install the taillight assembly by inserting it into the vehicle and replacing the two screws that you removed.
9. Test the new bulb by turning on the headlights and brake lights.
Repeat steps 3-9 on the other side of the vehicle, if both taillight bulbs need replacing.
