How do you disarm a 1997 Toyota 4Runner factory Alarm?

1. Locate the alarm control module. It is usually located under the driver's seat.

2. Disconnect the battery. This will prevent the alarm from sounding when you disarm it.

3. Find the disarm switch. It is usually a small, black button located near the alarm control module.

4. Press and hold the disarm switch for at least 10 seconds. The alarm should sound for a few seconds and then turn off.

5. Reconnect the battery. The alarm should now be disarmed.
