Instructions:
1. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Locate the alternator. It is located on the front of the engine, on the driver's side.
3. Remove the serpentine belt.
4. Disconnect the electrical connections to the alternator.
5. Remove the bolts holding the alternator in place.
6. Remove the alternator from the engine.
7. Install the new alternator in reverse order of removal.
8. Reconnect the battery terminal.
9. Start the engine and check the charging system.
Tips:
* Be careful when working around the serpentine belt. It can be dangerous if it gets caught in anything.
* If you are having difficulty removing the alternator, you may need to use a penetrating oil.
* Make sure that you reconnect all of the electrical connections properly.
