2. Remove the window crank handle. There are usually two screws that hold the handle in place.
3. Remove the door panel. There are usually a few screws located around the perimeter of the door panel. Once the screws are removed, the door panel can be pried off.
4. Locate the window regulator. The window regulator is a metal assembly that moves the window up and down. It is located inside the door, behind the window glass.
5. Remove the bolts that hold the window regulator in place. There are usually four bolts that hold the regulator in place.
6. Remove the window regulator. Once the bolts are removed, the regulator can be lifted out of the door.
7. Unmount the window crank. The window crank is held in place by 4 screws.
8. Disconnect the window crank from the window regulator. There is a metal clip that connects the window crank to the window regulator. pry the clip off with a flat-head screwdriver.
9. Remove the window crank. The window crank can now be pulled out of the door.
10. Reconnect the battery terminal. The battery terminal can now be reconnected.
