Instructions:
1. Preparation:
- Park your Nissan Pulsar ST in a safe and stable location.
- Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.
- Shift the transmission to Park (for automatic) or Neutral (for manual).
- Engage the parking brake.
2. Remove Center Console Trim:
- Locate the center console trim around the AC controls.
- Use a flat-head screwdriver or pry tool to gently pry off the trim pieces. Be careful not to break the clips.
3. Remove Center Console:
- Remove the exposed screws holding the center console in place using a Phillips-head screwdriver.
- Carefully lift and remove the center console to access the AC switch assembly.
4. Disconnect Electrical Connectors:
-Locate the electrical connectors attached to the AC switch assembly.
- Gently press the release tabs on the connectors and disconnect them.
5. Remove AC Switch:
- Locate the AC switch within the assembly.
- Use the Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the screws holding the switch in place.
- Carefully remove the old AC switch from the assembly.
6. Install New AC Switch:
- Take the replacement AC switch and align it with the mounting bracket.
-Secure the new AC switch using the removed screws.
7. Reconnect Electrical Connectors:
- Reconnect the electrical connectors that you disconnected earlier. Make sure they are firmly attached.
8. Reinstall Center Console:
- Carefully align the center console and place it back into position.
- Replace and tighten the screws you removed earlier to secure the center console.
9. Reinstall Center Console Trim:
- Align the center console trim pieces and gently press them back into place. Make sure they snap securely into position.
10. Test AC Switch:
- Start the engine and turn on the AC system to test the new switch.
- Make sure the AC switch functions correctly and that the air conditioner is working as intended.
11. Clean Up:
- Clean up any tools or debris left during the process.
