1. Gather the necessary tools: You will need a Phillips screwdriver, a flathead screwdriver, and a new glove compartment latch assembly.
2. Open the glove compartment. If the glove compartment is stuck closed, you can use the flathead screwdriver to pry it open.
3. Remove the old latch assembly. Use the Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws holding the latch assembly in place. Once the screws are removed, you can pull the latch assembly out of the glove compartment.
4. Install the new latch assembly. Place the new latch assembly into the glove compartment and align it with the mounting holes. Insert the screws and tighten them with the Phillips screwdriver.
5. Test the latch assembly. Open and close the glove compartment several times to make sure that the latch is working properly.
