1. Disable the ignition.
2. Remove the distributor cap.
3. Disconnect the distributor wires.
4. Remove the distributor housing bolts.
5. Lift the distributor out of the engine.
6. Remove the o-ring from the distributor.
7. Clean the distributor housing and the o-ring.
8. Apply grease to the o-ring.
9. Reinsert the distributor into the engine.
10. Reinstall the distributor housing bolts.
11. Reconnect the distributor wires.
12. Reinstall the distributor cap.
13. Enable the ignition.
*Note: The distributor may be difficult to remove due to rust or corrosion. If you are unable to remove the distributor by hand, you may need to use a puller.*
