1. Park your car in a safe, well-lit area and turn off the engine.
2. Open the hood of your car.
3. Locate the back cover of the headlight assembly. It is usually a black or gray plastic cover held in place by screws or tabs.
4. Remove the screws or tabs and carefully remove the back cover.
5. You will now see the headlight bulb. It is usually held in place by a metal clip or spring.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the bulb.
7. Press the metal clip or spring and remove the old bulb from the housing.
8. Install the new bulb into the housing and secure it with the clip or spring.
9. Reconnect the electrical connector to the back of the bulb.
10. Replace the back cover of the headlight assembly and secure it with the screws or tabs.
11. Close the hood of your car.
To test that you properly installed the new headlight bulb, turn on your headlights and verify that they are working correctly.
