To adjust the clutch, you will need a 10mm open-end wrench and a flat-head screwdriver.
1. Park the car on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Open the hood and locate the clutch master cylinder. It is located on the driver's side of the engine bay, near the firewall.
3. Use the 10mm wrench to loosen the locknut on the clutch master cylinder pushrod.
4. Use the flat-head screwdriver to turn the pushrod until the clutch pedal free play is between 10 and 15 mm (0.4 to 0.6 inches).
5. Tighten the locknut on the pushrod.
6. Close the hood and start the engine.
7. Test the clutch by depressing the pedal fully. The clutch should engage smoothly and the car should not shudder or slip.
If you are not comfortable performing this adjustment yourself, you can take your car to a qualified mechanic to have it done.
