2. Clean the Wiper Arm:
- Use a microfiber cloth and some glass cleaner to clean the wiper arm.
- Remove any dirt, dust, or debris that may interfere with the new blade's performance.
3. Install New Wiper Blades:
- Align the hook of the new wiper blade with the hook or post on the wiper arm.
- Push the blade down firmly until it snaps into place.
- Repeat this step for the other wiper arm.
4. Test the Wiper Blades:
- Turn on the windshield wipers to make sure they are working properly.
- Adjust the wiper arms if necessary so that the blades make good contact with the windshield and clean the entire surface.
Tips:
- Refer to your vehicle's owner's manual for specific instructions and recommendations on replacing the wiper blades.
- Be careful not to damage the wiper arms or the windshield during the replacement process.
- When the wiper arm is in upright service position, avoid applying pressure on the wiper arm and the blade.
