How do you remove a windshield washer pump from the tank?

To remove a windshield washer pump from the tank, follow these steps:

1. Park your vehicle in a safe and level location. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.

2. Open the hood of your vehicle.

3. Locate the windshield washer fluid reservoir. It is typically a translucent or transparent plastic container located near the front of the engine bay.

4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the windshield washer pump.

5. Use a wrench to loosen and remove the nuts or bolts that secure the windshield washer pump to the reservoir.

6. Once the pump is loose, carefully lift it out of the reservoir.

7. Inspect the pump for any damage or clogs. If the pump is damaged, it will need to be replaced.

8. If the pump is clear, reinstall it in the reverse order that you removed it.

9. Reconnect the electrical connector and tighten the nuts or bolts that secure the pump to the reservoir.

10. Test the windshield washer pump by turning on the wipers. The pump should spray fluid onto the windshield.
