How do you reset a flat tire warning on BMW 545?

How to Reset the Flat Tire Warning on a BMW 545

1. Ensure that the source of the warning has been addressed. Has the flat tire been fixed, replaced, or otherwise corrected? If not, resetting the warning will only result in it recurring shortly afterward.

2. Start the car and let it run for a few minutes. This will allow the car to perform its self-diagnostics and clear any temporary faults.

3. Press and hold the "TPMS" button located in the center console, near the gear shift.

4. Hold the "TPMS" button for at least three seconds. The tire pressure warning light should begin to flash rapidly, indicating that the system is being reset.

5. Release the "TPMS" button and wait for the warning light to go out. This may take a few seconds.

6. Drive the car for a few minutes to confirm that the reset was successful. The tire pressure warning light should not illuminate unless there is actually a problem with one or more of the tires.

If the tire pressure warning light does not go out after performing these steps, there may be a more serious problem with the TPMS system. In this case, it is best to consult with a qualified mechanic.
