How do you clean a riding mower fuel filter?

1. Gather your materials. You will need:

* A new fuel filter

* A funnel

* A pair of pliers

* A screwdriver

* A bucket

* Gloves

* Safety glasses

2. Prepare your riding mower.

- Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.

- Disconnect the spark plug wire.

- Move the riding mower to a well-ventilated area.

- Engage the parking brake.

3. Locate the fuel filter.

The fuel filter is usually located near the carburetor. It is a small, cylindrical device with two fuel lines connected to it.

4. Disconnect the fuel lines. Use the pliers to loosen the hose clamps that hold the fuel lines in place. Then, pull the fuel lines off of the fuel filter.

5. Remove the old fuel filter. Use the screwdriver to loosen the screw that holds the fuel filter in place. Then, remove the fuel filter from the housing.

6. Install the new fuel filter. Insert the new fuel filter into the housing. Make sure that the arrows on the fuel filter are pointing in the correct direction. Then, tighten the screw that holds the fuel filter in place.

7. Reconnect the fuel lines. Push the fuel lines onto the fuel filter and then tighten the hose clamps.

8. Start the riding mower. Reconnect the spark plug wire and start the riding mower. Let the engine run for a few minutes to make sure that there are no leaks.
