1. Park the truck on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Jack up the front of the truck and secure with jack stands.
3. Remove the transmission inspection cover from the bottom of the bell housing.
4. Use a large flat-head screwdriver to turn the clutch adjustment screw clockwise until the clutch fork contacts the release bearing.
5. Back off the screw 1/4 turn.
6. Install the transmission inspection cover.
7. Lower the truck off the jack stands.
Test the clutch adjustment by starting the engine and shifting into first gear. If the clutch engages too early or too late, repeat steps 3-6 until the clutch is adjusted correctly.
