1. Locate the fuse box. The fuse box on the 1990 Chevy Caprice is located under the hood, on the driver's side of the engine compartment.
2. Open the fuse box cover. The cover is located on the front of the fuse box and can be opened by hand.
3. Locate the fuse for the headlights. The fuse for the headlights is labeled "HEADLIGHTS" on the fuse box cover.
4. Remove the old fuse. Use a fuse puller to remove the old fuse from the fuse box.
5. Insert the new fuse. Insert a new 15-amp fuse into the slot for the headlights.
6. Close the fuse box cover. Replace the cover on the front of the fuse box.
7. Turn on the headlights. Turn on the headlights to test the new fuse.
