Locate the rear bulb connection on your vehicle. It is usually located in the trunk or cargo area.
Disconnect the negative battery terminal. This will help to prevent any electrical shocks.
Remove the taillight assembly from the vehicle. This may require removing a few screws or bolts.
Once the taillight assembly is removed, you will be able to access the bulb connection.
Clean the bulb connection using a cotton swab and some rubbing alcohol. Be sure to clean both the male and female connectors.
Reinstall the taillight assembly and reconnect the negative battery terminal.
