1. Turn on the ignition. Your car alarm should enter “valet mode” and stop sounding.
2. Locate the reset button. This button is usually located in the footwell of the driver’s seat or under the dashboard. It’s usually labeled “reset” or “valet.”
3. Press and hold the reset button. Hold it down for 5-10 seconds or until the car alarm system beeps.
4. Turn off the ignition. Your car alarm should be reset and no longer sound.
