2. Locate the windshield wiper arms. They are the metal arms that connect the wiper blades to the car.
3. Press the release button on the windshield wiper arm. This button is usually located on the side of the arm, near the base.
4. Pull the wiper arm up and off of the windshield. Be careful not to drop the arm or damage the windshield.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for the other windshield wiper arm.
6. Dispose of the old windshield wiper blades.
7. Install the new windshield wiper blades. Slide the new blades onto the wiper arms and snap them into place.
