Instructions:
1. Ensure that the vehicle is in “park” and that the parking brake is on. Turn the vehicle’s engine off and wait for it to cool down. Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery.
2. Locate the wiper motor in the engine compartment. On most models, it will be located on the driver's side, towards the front of the vehicle.
3. Remove the bolts or nuts that hold the wiper motor in place. Be careful not to drop the bolts or nuts into the engine compartment.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the wiper motor.
5. Remove the wiper motor from the vehicle.
6. Inspect the wiper motor and linkage assembly for damage or wear. Replace the wiper motor and linkage assembly if necessary.
7. Reinstall the wiper motor in the vehicle. Tighten the bolts or nuts that hold the wiper motor in place.
8. Reconnect the electrical connector to the wiper motor.
9. Reinstall the battery's negative terminal.
10. Test the wiper motor by turning on the windshield wipers and checking that they work properly.
