Where are timing marks on 1992 Cadillac Seville 4.9 motor?

1. Remove valve cover.

2. Remove No. 1 spark plug.

3. Insert pencil of comparable diameter into spark plug hole.

4. Gently turn crankshaft clockwise until pencil reaches it highest point of travel (compression stroke on No. 1 cylinder).

5. Look for the “0” mark on the crankshaft pulley to be aligned with the zero mark on the timing pointer.
