1. Locate the hazard switch. It is located on the dashboard, to the left of the steering wheel.
2. Remove the screws holding the hazard switch in place. There are two screws, one on each side of the switch. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove them.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the hazard switch. There is one electrical connector on the back of the hazard switch. Press the release tab on the connector and pull it straight off of the switch.
4. Remove the hazard switch from the dashboard. Once the screws are removed and the electrical connector is disconnected, you can pull the hazard switch straight out of the dashboard.
5. Install the new hazard switch. Insert the new hazard switch into the dashboard and line up the screw holes. Insert the two screws and tighten them until the hazard switch is secure.
6. Reconnect the electrical connector to the hazard switch. Press the connector onto the switch until it snaps into place.
7. Test the hazard switch. Turn on the hazard lights to make sure that the new switch is working properly.
