_Note: The following steps require that the vehicle is parked on a level surface and that the engine is off._
1. Locate the clutch adjustment rod on the side of the transmission. The clutch adjustment rod is typically located near the bottom of the transmission, and it may have a black plastic cap on the end.
2. Use a 10mm wrench to loosen the locknut on the clutch adjustment rod.
3. Use a screwdriver to turn the clutch adjustment rod clockwise until you feel resistance.
4. Once you feel resistance, turn the clutch adjustment rod counterclockwise until the locknut is just touching the clutch adjustment nut.
5. Tighten the locknut with the 10mm wrench.
6. Test the clutch by starting the vehicle and putting it in gear. If the clutch feels too loose or too tight, you can readjust it by following the steps above.
