1. Park the vehicle on level ground and turn off the engine. Allow it to cool down for at least 15 minutes.
2. Open the hood of the vehicle.
3. Locate the coolant reservoir. It is a plastic container with a black cap that is usually located on the passenger side of the engine compartment.
4. Check the level of the coolant in the reservoir. The coolant level should be between the "FULL" and "ADD" marks on the side of the reservoir.
5. If the coolant level is low, add a mixture of 50% antifreeze and 50% water to the reservoir until the level reaches the "FULL" mark.
6. Close the hood of the vehicle.
