Remove the latch mechanism in trunk lid with pliers or screwdriver(might pop back in as soon as you let go.
Locate latch release cable under dash or near back seat and manually disengage latch.
Method 2: Remove plastic trim on inside lip (if applicable, some trims snap in.)
Locate screws/bolts connecting lock assembly to back of deck lid
Remove hardware to release locking mechanism
