Step 1: Use a putty knife to pry the cap off the emblem.
Gently insert the putty knife around the edge of the cap and pry it up. The cap is typically held in place with adhesive, so it may require a bit of force to remove it.
Step 2: Remove the Phillips head screw.
Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screw that holds the emblem in place. The screw is located in the center of the emblem.
Step 3: Pry the emblem off the tailgate.
Use a small pry tool to pry the emblem off the tailgate. The emblem is held in place with adhesive, so it may require a bit of force to remove it. Be careful not to damage the paint on the tailgate.
Step 4: Access the broken latch handle.
Once the emblem has been removed, you will be able to access the broken latch handle. You can then remove the latch handle and replace it with a new one.
