1. Locate the OBD-II port in your 2005 Chrysler Town & Country. It's usually located under the dashboard on the driver's side.
2. Connect an OBD-II code reader or scan tool to the port.
3. Turn the ignition on (or start the engine if it's already running).
4. The code reader will automatically retrieve any error codes stored in the vehicle's computer.
Method 2: Using the Instrument Cluster
1. Turn the ignition on (or start the engine if it's already running).
2. Press and hold the "Trip" button on the instrument cluster for at least 5 seconds.
3. The instrument cluster will display any error codes stored in the vehicle's computer.
Note: If you see a code that starts with the letter "P", it's a powertrain code. If you see a code that starts with the letter "B", it's a body code. If you see a code that starts with the letter "C", it's a chassis code.
Once you have the error codes, you can look them up in a Chrysler vehicle repair manual to find out what they mean and how to fix them.
