1. Disconnect the battery. This is important to prevent any electrical shock while you are working.
2. Remove the steering wheel. There are four bolts that hold the steering wheel in place. Use the flathead screwdriver to remove these bolts. Be careful not to drop any of the bolts.
3. Remove the turn signal switch. There are two screws that hold the turn signal switch in place. Use the Phillips head screwdriver to remove these screws. Be careful not to drop any of the screws.
4. Remove the ignition switch. There are two screws that hold the ignition switch in place. Use the Phillips head screwdriver to remove these screws. Be careful not to drop any of the screws.
5. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the ignition switch. There are three electrical connectors that connect to the ignition switch. Use the pliers to disconnect these connectors.
6. Remove the ignition switch. Once all of the electrical connectors are disconnected, you can remove the ignition switch. Pull the switch straight out of the dashboard.
